1. __Swansea Science Festival:__
 - 30/31 Occtober 2026: R. Hugtenburg is lead.
 - Part of RS SSE on tour
 - Need to get a model to include in shipment.  WS reported that gluing instructions are essentially done.  Will ask M.Pereira to review them this week.  Then send to Imperial to allow completion of second model.  If Imperial one can not be ready on time, can use RHUL one at Swansea.
 - __Actions:__
  - __WS:__ Liaise with RH re VR
  - __KL/RH:__ Organise shipment of equipment to Swansea; quote being generated at Imperial.  RH Swansea looking at van hire,
  - __KL/RH:__ Complete application to RS for support for Swansea activity.
  - __KL:__ Email RH to ask if he needs to get people.

2. __SPARK proposal:__ KS/all
 - 10Dec26 Deadline; draft in preparation.  WS happy to help draft.
 - WS noted that STFC has "Nucleus Award"; value up to 100k; SME needed.  Need to discuss with Leo.

3. __Article:__ KS/all
 - Value of using applications of technologies developed for fundamental science to drive the creation of new capabilities that can be spun back into fundamental science.

4. Next meeting in 4 weeks; KS will chair.

     - Discussion of title
 - Outreach Group met and have developed a 6-month plan which is being updated.  Planning round of shout-outs to institutes and flagging progress.  Planning to start with Strathclyde and success of SCAPA. 
 - RB: has proposed LhARA paper for PPCF IoP Journal; has been accepted.  We noted the invitation for a special issue that we had accepted.  Agreed that **KL and RB** would meet to discuss how to take these opportunities forward next week.
