Paper suggests that 2D simulation over-estimates cut-off energy. Indication that present results on end-point is a factor of 2 different between 3D estimate and 2D estimate. Needs now to look at how scaling for energy is done. \\ 2D gives over-estimate of the flux because in 3D force goes as 1/r^2. In 2D its a cylindrical structure making it a 1/r dependence. \\ Agree that need to get a 3D simulation for comparison. Need to get a meeting with M.King at Strathclyde.
