• FFA Meeting rescheduling
  • Discussed availability & suitable dates. 19th & 26th February the best dates, WS to circulate a doodle poll with additional dates.

• Engineering
  • No update. WS to send latest spreadsheet with beam line survey,

• Simulation
  • MP: working on solenoid field map generation to ensure BDSIM & GPT cross consistency. Issue with BDSIM field agreement with theory.
  • WS: off with illness hence FFA review meeting rescheduling.
  • TJK: showed images of FETS/ISIS FFA prototype coil windings. Windings manually bent, question on field accuracy posed. Fraction of coils vs surrounding fabric also raised.
  • JP: Showed 2D field map of FFA magnet with cavity positioned between magnets. Important to understand field & keep relative permittivity below 1000 otherwise you lose shunt impedance. Conversion of map to Cartesian coords will be rechecked. Dimensions of the cavity presently 38cm thick, 2m wide, 1.2m high.
