* Simulations
	* JP: An unexpected correlation is seen between energy and transverse momentum at the start of the vertical arc (see [raw-attachment:ArcStudyUpdate_12012026.pdf​ slides]). 
		* Implied correlation between emittance and energy. 
		* MP to check data for correlations along the machine once back from leave.
* Publications
	* Plan paper now CDR is near publication.
		* Frontiers series is planned for the collaboration; they offer useful promotional benefits, and have a higher impact factor (2.1, 2024) than to PRAB (1.8, 2024). 
		* Will be distinct from pre-CDR in source description, model (7 Gabor lenses vs 5 previously), octupole location, etc, enough to warrant a new publication. 
		* Paper will be stage 1 only. The FFA will be a separate publication, likely led by Ta-Jen.
		* It should include ion tracking up to the switching dipole. 
		* Should cover source description, lattice, method of simulating, dynamics, and performance. 
		* Inclusion of maths for the source description was debated; preference (JP, WS) is to include in the appendix. 
* AOB
	* Nick Dover giving a lecture on laser-generated particle beams 2/2/2026 at IC for PG students. Slides will be useful. 
	* Should have a discussion with Nick on ion beams and any experimental agreement with any literature.
	* IPAC paper should not be forgotten.
