2. __PoPLaR:__ CW, JPar \\
 - Good progress recovering from laser failure.  Now planning for quad beam line set up and initial commissioning next week.
 - Congratulations for SCAPA/Strathclyde colleagues and the leader of the activity, R. Wilson.
 - JPar commented on bio prep.  E. Melia making good progress making a procedure to cope with the mylar/glass ring cell holders.
 - Some issues with cyclotron, which has reduced the amount of planned data at 14 MeV.  Work continues.
 - Ready for SCAPA bio beam time which is likely to be in October 2025.  Culture cabinet issues are resolved.  Largely ready to go.

3. __Clinical/pre-clinical peer group meeting:__ PP, RA \\
 - Meeting to discuss progress this week concluded now too short notice for some of the key speakers/participants we wish to engage.  Agreed to reschedule for Feb26.
 - Contact with IoP has been made and February we can pick a date now, so will respond picking a few reasonable dates.
 - Also, pitched the idea of a meeting series to discuss areas of aligned with the LhARA initiative.  In initial response was positive, will discuss with lead on events next week.

4. __Capture/focussing peer-group meeting:__ KL / All \\
 - Second meeting of emerging steering group earlier last week.  No change of plan.  Will try and get some dates when discussing with IoP events lead next week.

5. __Bio/biotech peer-group meeting:__ KL / All \\ 
 - RFI engagement
   - Good progress with RFI, Director will take idea to institute leads to see whether/how to progress.
   - KL will follow up next week.

6. __Collaboration meeting dates:__ All
 - Sep25, Birmingham
  - 18/19 Sep; 
    - Brm colleagues will update indico.
 - Spring 2026

8. __AoB__ \\
 - Outreach Group met and have developed a 6-month plan which is being updated.  Planning round of shout-outs to institutes and flagging progress.  Planning to start with Strathclyde and success of SCAPA. 
 - RB: has proposed LhARA paper for PPCF IoP Journal; has been accepted.  We noted the invitation for a special issue that we had accepted.  Agreed that **KL and RB** would meet to discuss how to take these opportunities forward next week.
