2. __PoPLaR:__ CW, JPar \\
 - Excellent progress in SCAPA last week.  Culmination of a lot of effort from R.Wilson and the SCAPA team.
 - Evidence for protons with energies up to 13 MeV (see [https://ccap.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk/trac/attachment/wiki/Research/LhARA/RadiationBiology/Meetings/2025-08-07/2025-08-07-LONG.pptx slides])

4. __Peer-group meetings update:__ KL \\
 - Exploiting hiatus caused by postponement of 30Oct meeting of pre-clinical/clinical researcher peer group, seeking to pitch meeting series to IoP.  KL will talk to C.Garland.

5. __Articles:__ RB, KL \\
 - Frontiers in Physics
 - Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion
 - Ion-acoustic
 - (added) technical paper on SCAPA beam and follow up on biological exposure.

 Plan agreed: finish CDR (now editing chapter 6, then appendices), then write paper for Frontiers.  KL to write to proposed authors of Plasma Physics paper.  Ion-acoustic paper coming forward.  Papers on SCAPA beam time to be developed.

6. __Possible collaboration with ICISE in Vietnam:__ KL \\
 - Long discussion of pros, cons and opportunities.  Bottom line is that we see opportunity to develop collaboration in Asia and so we seek to pursue collaboration with ICISE and see where it goes.

7. __Collaboration meeting dates:__ All
 - Sep25, Birmingham
  - 18/19 Sep; 
    - Brm colleagues will update indico.
 - Spring 2026

    __CDR preparation:__
     - Discussion of title
 - Outreach Group met and have developed a 6-month plan which is being updated.  Planning round of shout-outs to institutes and flagging progress.  Planning to start with Strathclyde and success of SCAPA. 
 - RB: has proposed LhARA paper for PPCF IoP Journal; has been accepted.  We noted the invitation for a special issue that we had accepted.  Agreed that **KL and RB** would meet to discuss how to take these opportunities forward next week.
