Milestones

WPA

7.1 Develop beamline and bespoke facilities at SCAPA for radiobiology experimentation. Propose report 30th June 2025

• Ongoing.

7.2 Preliminary radiobiology results at SCAPA. Propose report 29-08-2025

• Delays on repair of SCAPA laser imply delay in commissioning run and therefore radiobiology run. So, need to move report milestone back to 30Oct25.
• Agreed to pre-write papers after CDR is complete.

9.1 Demonstration of beam delivery to end station at SCAPA Propose report 29-08-2025

• Agreed to push milestone back to end of 25 August 2025 in view of repair of laser.

4.1 Report on Ion Acoustic Results Propose report 29-08-2025

• M.Maxouti thesis will be the report when it is made public. Likely to be before deadline noted above.

5.1 Deliver PoPLaR end-station Propose report either 20-06-2025 or 29-08-2025

• In view of damage to laser and repair the report deadline is moved to 30Sep25.

2.1 Assessment of beam performance during PoPLaR experiment on SCAPA Propose report 29-08-2025

Move as above.

3.1 Progress report on increased voltage penning trap simulations and operation Propose report 29-08-2025

• T.S.Dascalu thesis is likely the most recent source for the simulation. Agreed to consult P.Rucsasakchai et al to find out schedule on which report may be prepared.

6.1 Review of FFA R&D work Propose report either 20-06-2025 or 29-08-2025

• Documentation of FAA review is almost done. Accept deadline of 29Aug25, but very likely to be complete in the next week or so.

WPC

1.1 Initial PoPLaR and LhARA update: Collaboration Meeting - Completed.

8.1 Peer group meeting. Delayed October 2025.

• Meeting will now be held on 30Oct25.

8.2 Benefits map for LhARA.

• HO has version of benefits map from C.Pugh. He will check, update and circulate. Need then to work out how to maintain, update and build on it.

CDR

KL working through report. Introduction, and about 60% of facility chapter done. First draft of ion acoustic chapter provided by M.Maxouti. Some worries about dose calculations. Work continues. If not closed by end June, should not be too long after.

Then need to repopulate author list, as previously agreed.

AoB

STANDA order and Strathclyde held up in customs. Frame, jig etc. ready to be shipped from DL to Strathclyde. HO and RG will liaise to resolve inventory and shipping issues.
