BioPrep - Discussion of funding: excess LhARA funds to be spent on bio equipment for SCAPA. Plan being developed on how to utilise these funds. - Emma to present plan for PoPLaR Tuesday 24th LhARA collaboration meeting. - Discussion of using Marie's lab and using x-ray irradiator as control, perhaps also suspending the dishes for the same amount of time out of the incubator so that the only difference is particles. 2. Improving the Beamline - JMcG: Simulation of BELLA source by using a spectrum provided of the beam at 52 mm on an RCF- Beamline. [raw-attachment:BELLA-source-simulations.pdf Slides] - Source characterisation looks promising, having issues with rest of the beam, losing a lot of particles. - Plan to run linear optics and BDSIM side by side to check each component. - Plan to do the same for Eli. 3.
