• Gabor lens update
  • Design changes in the pipeline.
  • Pump being refurbished.
• SciWire update
  • Tests with source done but rate from the source much lower than expected so could not see scintillation light.
  • Will try testing with a torch+collimator.
• SmartPhantom update
  • Winding tests done with fishing wire. Frames being redesigned to improve stiffness and prevent warping.
• Round table.
  • Ruth: Hammersmith machine being used for treatment.
  • Will:
    • Working on applications with IBA
    • HT: Would like scoring planes to simulate the water phantom.
      • In development branch. Waiting to be merged.
    • Can consider installing linux on Windows using Windows subsystem for linux on the server. This would allow installing BDSIM in Windows.
  • Theo: Doing GPT simulations investigating phase space and emittance with different levels of space charge. Optimising design of the arc using MADX.

  • New server delivered. Operating system will be installed by ICT.
