Agenda
- Introduction: KL
Slides
- Discussion: All
Not possible to do justice to the discussion in short notes, so, some key points of agreement and actions.
Targetting EPSRC Healthcare Technology Scheme.
Three Pilars:
- Enhanced technique for precision, systematic radiobiology exploiting conventional and laser-driven sources;
- Strong focusing, plasma lens; and
- Co-creation of automation, dose-profile measurement with industrial partner (Leo)
Key issue is to demonstrate coherence of pillars through the organising principle of the LhARA initiative. This convergence is the justification for the Programme Grant approach. The development of the plasma lens can be discussed as the link between the novel, laser-driven source and the application.
Some expertise missing from writing committee, e.g. colleagues in Oslo, microscopists, ... To be addressed going forward.
