1. Introduction and status of preparation of 'reference' proposal: KL
   • Updated reference proposal still needs to be revised. This will be completed and posted for reference.
   • Goal for this meeting is to assess and agree the end-station specification and then re-evaluate the next steps.
2. End-station siultation update: AK, HT
   • Drawing of elements of end-station that intercept the beam here. We discussed and agreed:
     • 50micron milar for beam vacuum window (perhaps consider 50/75 micron); use MedAustron preferred cell holder; take 2mm thickness for now.
     • GB will make calculation and practical test of vacuum windows of various thicknesses. Need a soak test.
     • AK will bring sample holders to Imperial so that the base thickness can be measured.
   • Agreed that the parameter table, especially energy lost in the end-station, will be updated by the end of the week.
3. Implications and next steps: All
   • With the parameter table revised, next week we agree how to work towards a CDR. JPa explained that he believes the CDR should be based on the 'Hunt scheme' combined with electrostatic bends.

   • Structure of AK's talk ([AjitKurup-CCAP.pdf.pptx here]) was discussed, much feedback was given(!).
     • We agreed that a 'rehearsal' would take place at 15:00 (BST) on Friday 26Oct18. Details to be announced.
