    • OE to circulate the blank risk assessment form.
      • Done
    • AK to arrange meeting to discuss the laser target interface.
      • Doodle poll created. Date will be finalised soon.
    • JPar to look into spot scanning beam specs for in vivo experiments.
      • Stands.
    • AK to prepare abstract for upcoming abstract deadlines.
      • JPas circulated abstract for IPAC. Other abstracts will follow on from this.
    • AK to ask Simon for a repository to store the simulation input files.
      • Done.
  • System updates
    • beam transport - JPas
      • Working on definitions of the FFA.
    • beam transport - WS
      • Simulations for stage 1 and comparisons with BDSIM and GPT
      • transmission goes from 1% for q=1e9 to 25% for q=1e8.
      • Issue with beam definitions.
    • Infrastructure and integrations.
      • Ian from TD will prepare the updates of the floor plan.
      • AK: need to start thinking about costing.
      • Have order of magnitude guess. Can use existing projects to get comparison of costs.
      • GA: what does Instrumentation cover.
      • AK: Definition at the bottom of the pre-CDR preparation page Research/DesignStudy/PreCDR.
      • Controls and monitoring included in integration but may want to include fast feedback specific monitoring in instrumentation.
      • GA: JT spoke to CLF and will follow up.
    • Simulations
      • Fix on using ROOT as persisted format. Provide conversions for other formats.
      • JPas: BDSIM simulation through to injection septum. FFA. Septum to end station in BDSIM.
      • KL: interface at the switching magnet?
      • Discussion on best location of the interface.
      • Interface at input to the septum and extraction after septum.
      • AK: Will prepare a wiki page for simulation.

Action Items

  • JPar to look into spot scanning beam specs for in vivo experiments.
  • AK to prepare a wiki page for simulation.
