• Simulation
  • MP showed transverse distributions in Alpha ~ 0 regions are due to energy spread. Showed an energy dependant focus exiting the arc that correlates with beam size at the arc start. Strategy is to investigate upstream features that may impact that distribution.
  • TJK queried if laminated magnets are needed for variable energy extraction and could me modelled in Opera. Laminated magnets are planned anyway, but strategy would be to investigate eddy current relaxation time to model if energy can be changed at 100 Hz rep. rate.
