• Simulations:
  • MMC: Been on annual leave
  • MP: Working on collimation and RF for energy selection. 200 MHz. Longer wavelengths are an engineering challenge (size). Use standard off the shelf cavity. CERN uses 88 MHz. First cavity for energy selection, second cavity for phase rotation.
  • JP: Emailed with FFA magnet parameters.
  • KL: JP scanning magnet 90 degree phase advance. RR to present inccoming weeks.
• Publications:
  • KL to update everyone with plan at fortnightly 08/09/26.
• Resource planning:
  • STFC not possible. University driven. Look into Levelhulme.
• AOB
  • JP: TJK submitted final corrections. Passing on info, storage of models long term.
  • WS: Meeting time change - send doodle poll.
  • KL: Model going forward - fortnightly bio every other week. 6th October WP6 update.
