   • Valance; Barriers to be addressed; meeting with Ian and Patrick
   • Choreography;

3. Plasma lens news S.Eriksson, W.Bertsche
   SE:
   • Reminded the EB that they have a method of controlling non-neutral plasma in a Penning trap using and RF field and a dimple.
   • Began to write a paper; then realised that could be made into a patent. Advised to protect intellectual property.
   • Internal process completed, and are now preparing a patent application for the RF/dimple process.
   • Project to date has allowed a scientific programme to be defined.
   • Planning to develop this now and seek innovation funds to support it.
   • Clear that P.Rucksasakchai has made seminal and excellent contributions to this success.
   WB:
   • Emphasises that LhARA initiative can lead to spin-outs.
   Swansea and Manchester are happy that this can be referred to (priority date has been set) in discussions at, e.g., RS.
