+1. Hardware discussion:\\
+
+Quad stages:
+Supplier has been reached out to for a quote for 2 xyz motorised stages for the quadrupoles.
+
+Design (R.G):
+Demonstrates viewing window, manual insertion state for scintillator to monitor beam profile close to focus. 
+Discussion of RCF- to use instead of Thompson parabola at plane of cells, Thompson used to set up beam.
+Kapton window before cells.
+
+2. Bio updates:\\
+
+Carousel design finished. Conveyer belt like system, 10 cell plates at a time maximum as vertical suspension with little media results in cells drying. Suggestion to add RCF as one of samples- discussion of scintillator being used, both unlikely to be needed.
+
+Discussion of copper activation for instrumentation- activate stack of copper in proton beam where cells would be, count gamma & measure half life.

+3. Beam simulations:\\
+
+Decision was made to search for alternative quad positioning within 1.3m as to not interfere with Thompsons parabola positioning- good signal at current position. Decision was also made to look for a 2 quadrupole set up rather than 4 to save time/ money on initial experiments. 
+

+Discussion of meeting/half day for updates on all sides of PoPLaR. Poll sent out.
