Notes

1. Minutes and actions:
   • CH/RG: Waiting for motorised stands to be delivered.
     • Done.
   • CH: Provide CAD drawings of Beamline for repository/wiki
     • Stands.
   • HO: Provide field maps for the wiki
     • Done.
   • JMcG/KL: Get beam reference material onto wiki.
     • Stands.

2. Field mapping, preparation of PMQs: HO/BS
   
   • Asked CD for best positioning with new distance of 1400mm laser target to focus. Preliminary positions obtained. Tighter constraints can be provided by including details from CAD drawings of beamline.

3. Mechanical design update: CH
   
   • Order for plates and tooling for quad supports placed. Delivery ~4 weeks. Arrival at Strathclyde: 5-6 weeks.

4. Simulation update: AFR, CD
   
   • AFR beam from LhARA Linear Optics from source is too focussed. Calvin will send an output of end of beamline beam for input into TOPAS simulation, with the aim to reproduce the results seen with a gaussian beam. Nick provided details of RCF stack requried for Geant4 simulation.

5. Bioprep: EM/MH
   
   • MH asked for a decision on whether to send all 3 carousels to Birmingham for a check or to only send 2 and let one go straight to Strathclyde. No definitive answer given. Preference towards the latter so Strathclyde can access a physical carousel faster.

6. Discussion of Ideal Beamtime
   • No update. Prelimnary dates are still 21st Jul(Maybe 16th) - 1st Aug.
   • Ken asked whether it would be helpful to have a cell sample available for phase 1 in case it is viable to start early?

   • Change of meeting time due to clash with Birmingham cyclotron time. Will send a poll around.
   • Access and update of Trello ongoing (Thanks!)

Summary of actions

• CH/HO: Quad supports ordered. Delivery time 4 weeks.
• MH: Needs a decision on where to send carousels.
• CD/AFR: Calvin will send output of beam sim to Alfredo for TOPAS simulation.
• Discussion on whether to prepare a cell sample for phase 1?
• Poll will be sent around for a new meeting time considering that Thursday is cyclotron time at Birmingham.
