• Two set ups tested – PMQ1 5mm closer to source – Strathclyde team trying to find a set up to get closer than the 105mm achieved
• Beam shape changed as a function of energy as expected
• Beam cross characteristic not a 90° angle
• Beam cross disappears at 110mm – data at 115mm in simulation agrees
• October run will be with a 2-PMQ set up, then move on to full 4PMQ (more uniform dose) at a later stage – main issue is funds for XYZ stages – possible difficulties with biology set up for this beam profile needs further discussion

3. Bioprep:
   
   • JP in contact with Fisher rep (Birmingham) and suggests orders can be made in Birmingham for delivery to SCAPA
