1. Goals
   • Goals (Decided)
     • Review state of the art
     • Avenues for collaboration
     • Relevance to LhARA/radiobiological applications
     • Write a white paper/review
   • Overall Goal: Estabilishing connections and future research projects rather than selecting a particular technology for LhARA. It should NOT be a competition between the tools but rather a search for overlap in research.
   • Flier update
     • Ken to post the blurb from the previous meeting on the planning document
     • Have the flier ready for the next meeting

2. Programme and Speakers
   • Morning:
     • Session 1 is conventional focussing, plasma definitions and discussion (15mins each)
     • Session 2 is laser optics (30mins talk and 15 min discussion)
     • Session 3 is hybrid focussing (30mins talk and 15 min discussion)
     • Discussion does not necessarily need to be always after the talk and could use a tool like Mentimeter to allow comments and questions throughout the presentation.

   • Afternoon session is less fixed down
     • Idea is to have multiple tables laid out, with each table representing a different potential challenge
     • Requires a way to summarise each table
     • Hopefully no more than 6-8 on a table, so need a clear idea of numbers, and which tables/challenges will be the most populated.
     • Challenges include:
       • Beam alignment
       • High-rep rate use (damage)
       • Shot-to-shot variability in the lsrdrvn source
       • Angular acceptance for the highly divergent beam
       • If you have more challenges, please add them to the planning doc by EOW
     • Other suggestions: Multiple rooms, lightning talks (1 slide)
   • Speakers
     • Anymore speakers to be invited must be added by EOW
     • Suggestions for who to deliver the morning sessions have been made and are in the planning doc
     • Questions to pose the speakers to help prompt discussion and get everyone on a similar page are also on the doc
     • If you have more suggestions in either case, please fill in the doc by EOW

3. Fix the Date
   • Confirm the date (Either 7th or 11th (Mon or Fri) September)
     • Contact primary speakers to confirm the date
   • Encourage Ken to talk to IoP

4. Support
   • LSW funding
     • Mike Charlton has confirmed he will put in an application
     • Applications open in a few weeks and should know soon after
     • The flier would be very useful for this
   • IoP Plasma £200?
     • No update
     • Charlotte to ask Kate, (Old?) Chair, and if no response will ask David to find the new people on the committee.
       • One is Francis Lockwood
