- AK is investigating the possibility of buying a new COMSOL license.
- WS:
- Looking at comparing BDSIM and GPT wrt to tracking
- GPT shows order of magnitude difference in beam size with and without space charge.
- RF frequency variation and beam pipes for injection and extraction, i.e. y-shaped geometries features needs to be added to BDSIM.
- Need to look into defining the combined function magnet fields.
- Could use external python code to write out the field map.
- Can use multipoles but can't use dipole geometry. The multipole element has a simple cylinder geometry.
- Actual geometry of the magnet would be done in GDML.
- AK to install GPT on the server and send Will log in details.

- Effort on the single fibre
- Need to simulate the large distance between the last station and the cell layer.
