  • CH: discussion of the direction of the engineering work.
  • JP showed a schematic of new ring design and new injection and extraction scheme with parameters.
  • Discussion of the work to be presented in the CDR, plan for future work on the FFA and the option for having a review of the ring design in a few months' time.

  • Conversation about the laser parameters have changed.
    • Spectrum has now changed and has much a higher cut-off.
    • KL: this is work in progress and will require a few more iterations.

    • Thinking of moving the upstream octupole to the end station beam line.

    • Found the cause of needing to use a SigmaE correction factor of 0.006 is due to an issue with MADX.
