Gabor lens: staff resource had been moved from Manchester to Swansea as Manchester would find it hard to spend and Swansea was in need of additional effort.

Travel money had been pooled to make it possible to make the purchases for PoPLaR. As a result, travel for PoPLaR should be prioritised over "routine travel" for example to attend the April collaboration meeting.

Possible end-of-year flexibility

There is an opportunity to bid for resource if and end-of-financial-year spending activity is initiated from STFC or RFI. The opportunity was flagged and input for items that could be included in the "pitch" to STFC/RFI was requested.

Great Exhibition Road Festival of Science

LhARA has been granted a stand in the GERF. Need to put together plan. WS ready to coordinate. WB offered plasma demonstrator.
