v5 v6 10 10 11 11 1. BioPrep 12 - Josie: Summary of last week's biology meeting- Bio plan being prepped short- and long-term, covering both experiments within our existing collaboration remit and ways to expand the team/bring in outside experts. Jason and Emma have mapped internal biological experiments comparing radiation source results from cells to organoids to animals (see Emma's RAL lecture). Plan to hold a seminar day with the wider field to showcase LhARA, discuss overlapping work, and identify partners suited to joining LhARA or collaborating. Further meetings needed to nail down specifics for both the seminar and near-term experiments. 12 - Josie: Summary of last week's biology meeting: 13 - Bio plan being prepped short- and long-term, covering both experiments within our existing collaboration remit and ways to expand the team/bring in outside experts. 14 - Jason and Emma have mapped internal biological experiments comparing radiation source results from cells to organoids to animals (see Emma's RAL lecture). 15 - Plan to hold a seminar day with the wider field to showcase LhARA, discuss overlapping work, and identify partners suited to joining LhARA or collaborating. 16 - Further meetings needed to nail down specifics for both the seminar and near-term experiments. 13 17 14 18 2. Instrumentation 15 19 - RCF: 16 - Tony investigated delaminated EBT3 as a thinner alternative for dosimetry (minimal dose interference) but couldn't source it. Discussed manufacturing our own instead. Marie flagged that Alexander Mullen works on polymer thinning/stretching — plan to meet him to discuss making a thin sheet to sit in front of the cells without significantly reducing dose. Also agreed to reach out to NPL: Richard G. will connect with Giuseppe to discuss their similar process. Richard also mentioned the benefit in looking at fast electrons and will report back findings at the next meeting. 20 - Tony investigated delaminated EBT3 as a thinner alternative for dosimetry (minimal dose interference) but couldn't source it.
