3. Updates on the particle generation: HT

• 3D sim – supports claim than proton energy is x2 smaller in 3D than in 2D
• sim – not necessarily convergent
• cut at 15um removes high energy particles – as a result online graphs are not representative

4. Updates on simulation of "IC" lens: TSD

• Hollow plasma column - 4 fold structure caused by holes in anode?
• Sim with no holes still 4 fold- cartesian
• Will look at the electromagnetic solver (CW to interface w. David Speirs)
• electrons lost, mostly on central electrode
• Beam propagation into plasma – results look as expected.
